Police searching for man who ‘brandished gun’ at Davis County Walmart

CLINTON, Davis County — Police are searching for a man who brandished a handgun and used to be “acting suspicious” within the Clinton Walmart parking zone Wednesday afternoon, officers stated.

By the time police arrived on scene, the man had entered the Walmart on 1632 N. 2000 West, met up with a lady, made a couple of purchases and left in a automobile, consistent with Clinton Police Sgt. Richard Murdock.

The man didn’t seem to be in a rush, consistent with the shop’s surveillance video.

Police evacuated Walmart for a pair hours as a security precaution whilst they carried out a seek, Murdock stated. The evacuation has since ended.
