Annie Black took the victory in the race for Mesquite City Council Seat 4, according to unofficial primary election results Wednesday. Karen Fielding beat out Charles “Chuck” Kruder to become the second candidate who will advance to the general election Nov. 6.

It was one of three council positions that will be decided by means of town electorate this 12 months.

In the race for Seat 1, incumbent Councilman Geno Withelder narrowly edged Sandra Ramaker as each transfer on to the overall election forward of L. Kay Mercer.
