PARIS — A person armed with a knife attacked 5 other people in a central community close to the Paris Opera, according to the French police, killing one and wounding 4, two significantly.
The inside minister, Gérard Collomb, mentioned the attacker used to be killed by way of the police.
A cafe waiter, Amine Belkacem, 50, who used to be serving diners in a Moroccan eating place, mentioned he noticed younger other people working clear of the place the stabbing had took place.
