Bolton says Russia’s nuclear treaty warnings ‘overheated’

Russian warnings that the arena will change into a extra bad position if the United States abandons a nuclear treaty are “overheated”, US National Security Adviser John Bolton has stated.

Speaking to the BBC’s Sarah Rainsford in Moscow, Mr Bolton stated he had heard “the same rhetoric” when the United States withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty (ABM) in 2001, including that present discussions with Russia’s defence minister had been “constructive”.

His feedback come after President Trump stated he deliberate to withdraw the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty, accusing Russia of violating it.
