About 6:40 a.m., a 16-year-old woman riding a Jeep Patriot on 700 East crossed over into oncoming visitors close to 7950 South and hit a Toyota Tacoma head-on, stated Sandy Police Sgt. Jason Nielsen.

The driving force of the Tacoma, a 22-year-old lady, used to be transported to an area health center with accidents that weren’t life-threatening, he stated.
